Opportunity for a graduate software engineer to join a Bermuda domiciled reinsurance business in London.

You will be working alongside two senior developers to build processes to automate and streamline the development, deployment, and maintenance of their in-house portfolio risk management system as well as getting involved in the planning and design of their development and production infrastructure.

We’re looking for either a fresh graduate or someone with a max 1yrs commercial experience with a solid understanding of ‘OO’ programming. The team currently work with .Net/C#, SQL but if you’re more Python, Java or C++ that’s fine. Industry experience isn’t important either. If you have some FS experience great, but no worries if not.

As important as the technical skills is team fit. We want someone who has an appetite for leaning and is happy to get their hands dirty with multiple tasks. This represents a unique opportunity to work alongside and directly learn from two senior developers who have complete autonomy around technology decisions. There is no corporate red tape here.

Based in central London, there would be a need to be in the office full-time initially but once you’re up to speed on things, hybrid / remote is available.
