Specialist Insurer is looking to hire a Snowflake Data Engineer for their team in London.

Candidates must have hands-on development experience with Snowflake along with expert level SQL skills. We also require you to have had experience designing and implementing large scale data warehouse solutions.

Desirables include:

• Experience implementing data pipelines in both batch and stream processing

• Understanding of DataOps

• Experience of Data serialisation formats: JSON, YAML, PARQUET, ORC, Protobuf, AVRO

• Experience of any BI reporting tools e.g. Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI is a bonus.

This is largely a remote working position with the need to be in the London office 1 – 2 days per week.
